Each week we want you to be able to experience the great music, encouraging messages, and friendly people that are part of the Lynn Haven UMC experience. What should I wear? We're more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you wear. Most people will dress in casual weekend attire, so dress how you feel comfortable and you'll fit right in.
Where should I park? For our first-time guests, you will find a special section right near the entrance reserved just for you. If you are taking the time to check us out for the first time, we want you to know that we appreciate it. So get the best spot!
What's available for my kids on Sunday mornings? We have an excellent kids experience. For children preschool and younger we have Wee Worship. Wee Worship runs the entire hour during all morning services. For children kindergarten through fifth grades we have our Kids on the Rock! During the 8:00 am service the children are dismissed to go to Kids on the Rock during the service. For the 9:30 am service Kids on the Rock runs the entire hour. At the 11:00 am services children have the option of being in the sanctuary with their parents until they are dismissed or enjoying a full hour of Kids on the Rock. As soon as you walk in the building you will see the Welcome Center where an amazing Hospitality team will help you find the children's area and answer any other questions you may have about our church.
What should I expect in church? From the moment you pull into the parking lot, you'll be made to feel right at home. Our Hospitality team will help you find anything that you need. If you have children, please take advantage of our special areas and services just for them. After checking your kids in, proceed to the sanctuary where our Hospitality team will welcome you, hand you an information-filled bulletin and help you to secure a seat so you aren't stressed out finding an open space. The bulletin will tell you more about Lynn Haven UMC. During the service we will pass out registration books. In these books there is a special area that you can fill out to let us know a little about you as well as name tags that you can put on so we can greet you by name. We will never single you out or embarrass you during the service so relax and enjoy your time with us!
Grab a cup of coffee- Between services, coffee and refreshments are available in the Food Court and the Coffee Corner. Both are located in the hallway between the sanctuary building and the education building where you will drop off your kids. Stop by and grab some coffee and a cookie and get to know some of the people that make up Lynn Haven UMC.
Visit our Welcome Center- Located just inside the main entrance, don't forget to stop by our Welcome Center. Our friendly Hospitality Team would love to give you more information about our church! You'll also find previous sermons on CD's and information about our various ministries. We also have a special gift for our first time visitors that is just our way to say thank you for being our guest!
