We provide care for you by offering worship that is meaningful and relevant. However, our care extends far beyond weekend services.   You can develop lasting relationships with people who will love and support you through small groups, volunteer teams, or other connection opportunities. When additional needs arise, Lynn Haven UMC offers Care and Service teams who exist to meet your unique emotional and spiritual needs.

 

Pastoral Care

 

Our pastors are available to pray with you, utilize God’s word to counsel you, and help you discover God’s will for your life in times of growth and challenge.  Please call the Congregational Care Pastor, Jim Luther, at 265-5231 to make an appointment.

 

Hospital Visitation

 

We make every effort to find out when our members are hospitalized. The hospitals DO NOT inform us when one of our congregation is hospitalized. You can help keep us informed by calling the Congregational Care Pastor, Jim Luther, at 265-5231 and notifying him when you or a loved one will be hospitalized.    For weekend and after hours emergencies please call the Emergency Contact number at 832-2392.

 Life Events

 

Baptisms

Baptisms are scheduled during regular weekend worship services and special baptism services throughout the year.  Call Joanna Gildersleeve at 265-5231 to schedule a baptism or you can email her by clicking here.

 

Weddings

We invite you to be married at Lynn Haven Methodist Church.  We believe a wedding is a religious service, a Christian celebration of your love and commitment to each other and to God.  Wedding questions and plans should be discussed with Wedding Schedule Coordinator Sue Brandt.  Sue can be reached in the church office Tues – Fri at 265-5231 or you can email her by clicking here.

 

Funerals

The Care and Service Teams want to help make funeral services meaningful and comforting for your family.  Our pastoral staff will work with you to plan and conduct a service.  To make arrangements, please call the church office at 265-5231.


Births
The arrival of a new baby is an amazing gift from God.  We also realize it can be a very stressful and exhausting time for both mother and family.  Labor of Love is a meal delivery program created to cater to your family’s needs after the birth of a child.  Contact Tracy Lushnat or Elana Boomsma to schedule meals.
