We believe the Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is the inspired word of God and therefore infallible in all it affirms. Scripture is the measure of all Christian doctrine and the foundation of all spiritual growth, discipleship, and service. We therefore value the centrality of Scripture in all our ministries and promote Biblical literacy for Christians among all age groups.

 

  1. Outreach

We believe people outside the community of faith matter to Christ and should matter to his followers. We believe this church should be dedicated to supporting Christians as they help others within their circles of influence become believers in Christ.

We believe that spiritual growth and mutual care happen best in the context of genuine loving relationships.  Therefore we intentionally encourage involvement in team-oriented ministry and small groups while discouraging anonymous attendance and unconnected leadership.

We believe it is critical for every Christian to envision God’s glory and recognize his worth with ever growing depth and clarity. We therefore value worship that is relevant, engaging our minds and emotions in such a way as to progressively transform us into a deeper commitment to God’s truth and purposes.

We believe that Christ’s church is best led by those gifted by the Holy Spirit and trained for leadership. We therefore value the intentional identification and ongoing development of leaders for Christ’s mission within our community, denomination, and throughout the world.
