Senior High Fall Retreat
October 31 - November 2

What is the Vineyard?
The Vineyard is a retreat facility located in Ariton, AL, about 30 minutes west of Dothan, AL.  Our Senior High Group will go to The Vineyard for a weekend retreat to learn more about God and ourselves.  It will be a fun weekend and we hope you will decide to go with us.
 

What should you do?
Pick up a brochure in the Youth Room
Both you and your parents read all the info on the brochure.
Have your parents sign the permission form and turn it in at Youth or the Church office.
TURN YOUR CHECK FOR $85 TO NEAL NO LATER THAN SUNDAY NIGHT, OCT. 19TH.
Pack your bags and be at the Church not later than 3:30 PM on Friday, October 31st.  We will load the vehicles and depart at 4:00 PM.  We will return Sunday between 4-6 PM.  Students are welcome to stay at church for Youth Group or can call for pickup.

What should you bring?
Bible, pen & pad, flashlight, towels, toiletries, appropriate clothes (expect temperatures to be in the 80's-90's daytime, and the 60's at night), bathing suit for ultimate slip n slide (are you tough enough?), jacket, pillow, sleeping bag or sheets/blanket, and money for the snack bar.  You will also need money for Friday's dinner and Sunday's lunch (both at the Dothan Mall).

What should you leave at home? (This means don't bring them!)
Radios/CD players/MP3 players/DVD players
Electronic Games
Fireworks or any items of destruction

How should you act?
*RESPECT- respect each other, respect the facilities, and respect the leaders!
No alcohol, drugs, illegal substances, fireworks, or weapons of any kind.
No deliberate damage to property
All meeetings and group activities must be attended
No one is to leave his or her room after lights out
No one is allowed to leave the immediate grounds of The Vineyard
No crossing of the guy/girl boundaries set up at the facility
No disrespecting/disobeying any of the staff.  They are responsible for you this weekend
Please know that if you break any of the rules, your parents could be called to come and pick you up, depending on the severity of the offense.

"It's going to be a great weekend and I know we won't have any problems.  We just need to let you know that we won't put up with any of the above..." - Neal
